Sustainability has been one of Miko’s strategic pillars since 2005. This means that sustainability is central to the day-to-day operations of the group. Our sustainability policy consists of 3 pillars:
Environment
We should strive for respect for the world around us, by limiting the emission of greenhouse gases and protecting valuable nature reserves.
Our people are our most precious resource. Without them there is no progress. We want to realise a positive impact on the lives of our own employees and of the lives of the workers in the value chain.
At Miko, we are commited to doing our business and achieving our goals in an ethical way, respecting key principles; human rights and adhering to strict anti-corruption and anti-bribery provisions.
Since 2017 Miko publishes a yearly sustainability report on the progress regarding sustainability targets and initiatives. Since 2024, the report is in line with the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
